The rock delivery for the Slaughden defences, which has been delayed over several months due to difficult weather conditions, finally arrived on 28th April and unloading started the following day. The second load is due this afternoon, Wednesday 4th May, at about 1600 hrs all assuming the weather conditions remain friendly.
